Mikel Arteta Delivers Stern Message to Arsenal Squad After Everton Stalemate**

Following Arsenal's frustrating 1-1 draw against Everton, manager Mikel Arteta delivered a clear and stern message to his squad, emphasizing the need for immediate improvement. Despite dominating possession and creating several chances, the Gunners failed to secure all three points against an Everton side struggling for form.

“We cannot drop points in games like this, especially when we control most of the match,” Arteta stated post-game, his disappointment evident. “The players know we must be more clinical, ruthless, and disciplined. It’s a warning for everyone—performances like this cannot continue.”

Arsenal’s inability to capitalize on opportunities in front of goal was a key concern for the manager. While Eddie Nketiah’s late equalizer salvaged a point, it underscored the team’s lack of sharpness in decisive moments.

Arteta’s comments also pointed to the mental aspect of the game, urging his team to show the composure and consistency needed to compete with the Premier League’s best. “It’s not just about playing well; it’s about having the mentality to win no matter what. The top teams take control in these situations, and we need to match that level of determination.”

Defensively, Arsenal also faltered, conceding through a set-piece in the first half—a recurring issue that Arteta believes the team must address urgently.

“We need to reflect as individuals and as a team. There’s no room for complacency,” Arteta added. “I expect a reaction, and I expect it quickly. At this level, there are no excuses.”

The draw comes at a critical point in Arsenal’s season as they aim to maintain momentum in the race for top positions. Arteta’s warning serves as a rallying cry for the squad to rediscover their focus and edge ahead of crucial fixtures in the coming weeks.

As the Gunners regroup for their next challenge, Arteta’s words will undoubtedly resonate as a reminder that talent alone is not enough—consistency, discipline, and hunger will be key to achieving their goals this season.
