Drama at Real Madrid: Star Player Reportedly Refuses to Play Amid Tension with Bellingham & Mbappe!

It looks like storm clouds are gathering over the Santiago Bernabéu once again! Real Madrid could be facing a major internal crisis as one of their top stars is rumored to be refusing to suit up for the team ever again — and it all seems to revolve around Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe!

After a crushing 4-3 El Clásico defeat to Barcelona that dented their title hopes, Los Blancos now find themselves not only slipping behind in La Liga but also dealing with a potential fallout behind the scenes.

While Jude Bellingham was in the starting XI during that thriller — alongside Fede Valverde, Vinicius Jr., and hat-trick hero Kylian Mbappe — fans quickly noticed someone missing: Rodrygo.

The Brazilian winger, despite being listed among the substitutes, didn’t step onto the pitch. In fact, he hasn’t featured since being taken off at halftime during the Copa del Rey final loss to Barcelona in April. He also missed the subsequent La Liga tie against Celta Vigo on May 4.

According to MARCA, Rodrygo reportedly told club officials he wasn’t in the right condition to play — even though he had participated in several training sessions leading up to the game.

When questioned, manager Carlo Ancelotti stated:

“He had recovered, but wasn’t feeling at his best. He had a fever, and I didn’t want to risk putting him on the field for just a few minutes.”

But that’s not the whole story...

On May 13, MARCA revealed that tension behind the scenes has escalated. Sources close to the club suggest Rodrygo feels sidelined — no longer the attacking focal point he once was — following the meteoric rise of Bellingham and the high-profile arrival of Mbappe.

Things may have even soured between Rodrygo and close friend Vinicius Jr., with whispers of a growing rift in the dressing room. The publication reports that the 24-year-old winger is now “isolated at home” and visibly frustrated with his situation.

In fact, there are suggestions that Rodrygo could be ready to walk away from the Spanish giants entirely!

To add more fuel to the fire, he reportedly withdrew from training again — this time during the warm-up — and is likely to miss the upcoming clash against Mallorca.

With his current deal running until 2028, Real Madrid won’t let him go easily. But Premier League giants like Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool are said to be monitoring the situation closely...

Will new manager-in-waiting Xabi Alonso be able to repair the damage? Or are we witnessing the beginning of a shock summer transfer twist?

Stay tuned — this saga is far from over!
