He Played Like Prime Gattuso": Paul Scholes Praises Underrated Manchester United Midfielder After FA Cup Final Performance

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has heaped praise on Sofyan Amrabat for his stellar performance in the FA Cup final against Manchester City. Scholes described the Moroccan midfielder’s display as reminiscent of "Prime Gattuso," highlighting his critical role in United’s victory.

Amrabat was deployed in the number six role for the final, a decision that saw him take the spot of Casemiro, who was not fully fit for the game. The move paid off as Amrabat delivered a commanding performance, proving his value to the team’s midfield.

The Moroccan international’s statistics from the match underscore his impact. He registered 37 touches, completed 93% of his passes (25 out of 27), won two duels, made two clearances, recorded two tackles, and blocked a shot.

Scholes, impressed by the midfielder's contributions, also addressed rumors about Amrabat’s potential departure. *“There’s still hope for Manchester United’s midfield with players like him. If it’s up to me, I’ll make sure he starts every match next season,”* Scholes stated.

Amrabat’s performance has reignited optimism among Manchester United fans about the club’s midfield strength, as his disciplined and dynamic approach continues to draw comparisons to legendary players.
