Kylian Mbappé has been facing a difficult season at Real Madrid, with inconsistent performances leading to his exclusion from the recent French national team squad. The star forward is reportedly struggling mentally as both Real Madrid’s La Liga and Champions League results have fallen short of expectations.
Veteran midfielder Toni Kroos has offered advice to Mbappé, suggesting he look to teammate Jude Bellingham as a model. Kroos praised Bellingham for his dedication, noting how he frequently drives the play, makes forward runs, and pushes the team’s momentum. While Kroos acknowledged it’s natural for players to share responsibilities on the pitch, he emphasized that Mbappé currently relies too heavily on his teammates to fill these roles.
Kroos highlighted Bellingham’s commitment and energy, advising Mbappé to adopt a similar mindset if he wants to excel in the center-forward position. The German midfielder also mentioned that the team has been feeling some frustration with Mbappé’s limited contributions in this area.
Kroos suggested that coach Carlo Ancelotti might consider using Bellingham’s approach as an example for Mbappé to follow—or potentially reevaluate Mbappé's place in the lineup if improvements aren’t seen.
