Not Alexander-Arnold: Real Madrid Eyes Surprise Successor for Carvajal**

Real Madrid may be shifting its focus away from Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold as a replacement for the injured Dani Carvajal. While Alexander-Arnold was initially a priority for the next transfer window, the club is now considering Tottenham’s Pedro Porro as a strong alternative.

According to Spanish outlet *AS*, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti sees Porro as a more fitting choice for the squad than Alexander-Arnold. Ancelotti is reportedly concerned that Alexander-Arnold’s offensive approach might leave Madrid exposed at the back, whereas Porro’s speed and versatility would add both defensive strength and balance in attack.

Additionally, Liverpool appears interested in extending Alexander-Arnold’s contract, a move he is reportedly open to, which could further ease Madrid’s decision to look elsewhere.
